we haven’t found any autumn oyster mushrooms yet, but due to the warm weather a few scotch bonnets have made a welcome appearence in our neighbourhood this weekend 🙂

I was trying to post a photo here, but can’t seem to do it.
I have a tree full of (what I think) are Choke Cherries. Wondering about a consensus on whether I should try to make something edible with them or leave them for the birds. Seems recipes call for so much sugar…. anything to sweeten the taste.
    Worth it??

It’s time to plant garlic, asparagus seeds and hunt for oyster mushrooms. I’ve still some high bush cranberries to juice too!
